Identify who bills you before looking for a cancel button
A product name and a payment channel are different pieces of information. The right cancellation route follows the actual purchase, not the website that appears first in a search.
WaifuChat’s Apple listing describes in-app purchases and Pro subscriptions. SoulFun’s subscription terms describe monthly renewal and a provider feedback-form cancellation request.
Neither description gives this publication access to an account. We did not subscribe, request a cancellation or measure support response times.
If the WaifuChat purchase is billed by Apple
Apple’s current cancellation instructions explain managing an App Store subscription from the web or device. On an iPhone, the route runs through Settings, the Apple Account name and Subscriptions, then the selected subscription.
Apple also explains what to do when the expected subscription is missing: inspect the receipt and determine which account or company billed it. A different Apple Account or a non-Apple purchase is a different route.
That is more useful than assuming every purchase bearing the app name is controlled from one screen.
Keep the states distinct

One state is not proof of the others. Removing a character, leaving a conversation or deciding to stop using an app does not itself document the subscription’s billing status.
If the subscription is governed by SoulFun’s published route
SoulFun’s page directs a logged-in account holder to submit a feedback-form request to cancel automatic renewal. It says cancellation does not refund previous fees and that access continues to the end of the billing period.
Those are the provider’s stated conditions, not a promise about how quickly every request is handled. If that request-based route is inconvenient for the way you manage subscriptions, treat it as part of the purchase decision before renewing.
Keep the relevant receipt, account identifier, request date and confirmation. Do not send a password or full payment-card details to an unrelated publication with a similar name.
A pause in creative work has several consequences
An anime collection and an ongoing companion conversation can contain material you want to keep. Before changing an account, distinguish the subscription entitlement from access to saved work and from data-deletion choices. Do not infer that canceling preserves everything forever or erases everything immediately.
WaifuChat’s direct linked policy pages were not fully readable during this research, so we do not invent a current retention or refund promise. The Apple route above applies when Apple is actually the biller.
The comparison does not select a universal winner. It shows two different documented management paths. Choose a subscription only when you understand where renewal is controlled and what evidence will tell you that the requested change has taken effect.
